The International Symposium on Reinterpreting the Qur’an and Assessments of Today’s Qur’an Studies (2000-2025) brings together scholars, philosophers, and experts in the field. Organized by the Research Institute for Philosophical Foundations of Disciplines, the event focuses on emerging alternative hermeneutical methodologies alongside critical evaluations of recent interpretive trends.

Reinterpreting the Qur’an in the 21st Century and Assessments of Today’s Qur’an Studies (2000-2025)
Objectives
To establish consistent, valid, and new interpretive frameworks for the Qur'an in today's technologically advanced, hyper-connected society, and to critically evaluate recent interpretive trends and commentaries produced between 2000 and 2025.

Scholars, philosophers, and experts in the field.
Call for Papers
The symposium invites original paper proposals on the following tracks:
- Track 1: New Methodological and Interpretive Approaches - Exploring innovative analytical methodologies concerning vocabulary, syntax, and structural/thematic relationships in the Qur'an.
- Track 2: Critical Evaluation of Current Works (2000–2025) - Critical assessments of recent works, commentaries, and hermeneutical voices produced between 2000 and 2025.
Key Deadlines:
- Registration and Abstract Submission: July 26, 2026
- Abstract Acceptance Notification: July 30, 2026
- Full Paper Submission: September 30, 2026
Accepted and presented papers will be published as an electronic book after the meeting.
